Shayla DURANGO SENIOR

Meet Shayla Walker, a 17-year-old Durango native who comes from a big family. Her family is so big that she is actually one of ten siblings!

When she was younger, Shalya spent 14 years as a gymnast. Now, she dedicates her free time to training her beautiful horses, Champ and Sysco. These stunning steads are being trained for shows at Reining and Gymkhana this year.

Horse Back Photo Shoot

We had a blast during our senior photoshoot, which took place on Shayla’s family ranch. It was a memorable day for all as we interacted with her beautiful horses and struck the perfect pose with the family truck.  We joked about how funny it is that her family truck has her given last name on it! 

This outdoorsy teen loves spending time in Durango’s mountains, lakes, and rivers. She loves spending time four-wheeling, hiking, fishing, and boating. For her future, Shayla plans to go to college to become a therapeutic riding instructor for disabled and troubled kids. 

This special and compassionate teen lives her life believing that everyone deserves a second chance! Shayla was one of our fabulous models who was in our First Annual Fall Fashion Show! Thanks, Shayla, for all your hard work and a fun senior photo session! This session was such a treat to work on! Beautiful memories were made, and we felt so honored to be there to capture the moments. Shayla, you are amazing! As beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside.
